Pre-Olympiad Coach Checklist
Deadlines
- Send the $60.00 fee to Dr. Ferguson at Cleveland State by December 1st. There is an invoice available on the website that contains all necessary contact information.
- Names of judges and volunteers are needed by January 15th with
their selection of a lunch to include either turkey, ham, or veggie box
lunches. E-mail these to Carolyn Hoover at
thehoovers861@sbcglobal.net .
- Additional Adult T-shirts - E-mail Carolyn Hoover with the number of additional adult T-shirts you will need by February 15th.
- Contact Carolyn Hoover with any Head-to-Head events in which you will not participate no later than February 1st.
- E-mail Rosemary Nemeth with the names of all volunteers, coaches, and judges for listing in tournament handbook : rnemeth001@aol.com - must be submitted by March 1st in order to be published
- Send, email, or bring your final team list with every students' grade level no later than T-shirt pick-up. Please use the new version as posted on this website.
- Bring charts for Mystery Powders and Rock Hound to T-shirt
pick-up for authorization.
- Inform any judges that you supply that there will be a
mandatory
judges meeting. See main page for details.
- It is the coach's responsibility to ensure the provided judges
are well-prepared for judging the event. Please make sure that
they are familiar with their rules and procedures for their particular
event well in advance.
- Label every student's t-shirt with your team letter.
- Bring your goggles for Mystery Powders and Rock Hound!
